Robert Levy to speak at Northwestern


Please join us for our Final Event of the school year!  Robert Levy, Chairman of the Cato Institute, will speak on Tuesday, April 2 at 12 noon in RB 140.  He will discuss the topic, “Constitutional Relevance in the Age of Obama.”  He will focus on theories of constitutional interpretation, President Obama’s criteria for judicial appointments, and federalism in the context of public policy debates on the regulatory state, economic liberties, health care, and law-related obstacles to economic growth.


Filet Mignon Steaks from Gibson’s Steakhouse, along with tuna salad & cheesecake desserts, will be provided!

Dr. Levy is the founder & former CEO of CDA Investment Technologies, a major provider of financial information and software.  He holds a Ph.D. in business from American University and a J.D. from George Mason University School of Law.  He has served as an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University.  He is the author of numerous publications, including the co-author of The Dirty Dozen: How Twelve Supreme Court Cases Radically Expanded Government and Eroded Freedom.
